YEAR 2008 Butterfly Counts

Click here to get the details about 2008 Broward County Chapter of North American Butterfly Association Butterfly Count!

We still are in need of volunteers to assist with the counts. Check you calendars and let us know when and where you would like to join us and sign up at the meeting or call me at 954-993-9449. Experience is not necessary, just the love of the outdoors and butterflies. We will have leaders for each of the sites and just need others to help spot and count butterflies. We will meet the count leaders at the above locations about 9:00 a.m. Plan to bring binoculars, field guides, cameras, water, snacks/bag lunch, sunscreen and a hat. We usually count for about 4 hours.

Please check your calendar to see which dates and locations suit you. RSVP by email to Janice Malkoff, or phone Janice Malkoff at 954-993-9449 or Barbara DeWitt badewitt@comcast.net or 954-599-1082.
