BCBC October 19th Member Meeting

Our speaker is Monica Mejia, Environmental Specialist with Waste Management (WM) of Florida and BCBC member, who will speak on the topic of “Butterfly Observations at the WM Landfill.” Monica has been participating in NABA butterfly counts for several years and is excited to report on the success of their efforts to provide habitat for butterflies and other pollinators at the facility located on Wiles Road in Pompano Beach. Come join us for this inspiring adaptive use of land at Monarch Hill. Refreshments will be provided.
