NABA Atala Palm Beach County Butterfly Chapter Meeting – March 14, 2026

Speaker will be Sue Alspach, Broward County Butterfly Chapter Member who recently retired after 29 years from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. In addition to her professional career, Sue spends her time tending her home garden in Davie and exploring South Florida’s wilderness parks and wild lands. Her presentation is “Finding Butterflies at Jonathan Dickinson State Park.” Using lots of photographs, Sue will share what butterflies can be found, where to find them and what flowers they frequent.

The meeting is open to the public and held at Mounts Botanical Garden Auditorium located at 531 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL. Doors open at 12:30pm and meeting begins at 1:00pm. Butterfly plants will be available for “drawing of chance” as well as refreshments.
